The most important part of my work and approach I take with my clients is advocating for their overall health and well-being. Working as a Health and Wellness Coach for three years, I became more aware of how influential behaviors around diet and exercise directly impact mental health. Having a background in Nutrition/Dietetics, I seek opportunities to merge that knowledge with my current work in the mental health field. Taking a whole systems approach creates a platform for clients to increase their own awareness or patterns with diet, exercise and self-care and how that directly influences their mental health. Gaining this perspective offers a real and tangible approach for clients to set and achieve meaningful goals. I have an interest in working with eating disorders, incorporating music therapy, and working with individuals and couples. I am currently working on my master's degree in Counseling, and I am on track to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
