Clinic-Based Therapy Services

If you’re ready to start your journey, I’m here to help. Together we can work on the issues that matter to you and build a happier and healthier life.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and specialize in use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have training in CBT, CBT for Eating Disorders, and DBT for adolescents and children. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with regulating difficult emotions and navigating relationships. I use a nonjudgmental stance – meaning I seek to balance the truth of the client with the needs of the current moment. Mindfulness practice is utilized as a part of therapy to assist you in gaining awareness of the present moment.

I have experience treating anxiety, eating disorders, BPD, PTSD, depression and self-harm. I have special interest in the treatment of eating disorders, adolescents and young adults. I am trained in teaching parent management skills which aims to help parents manage challenging behaviors in children.

Approach to Supervision

In the role of supervisor, I am offered the chance to continue learning alongside the supervisee. As clinicians, we are faced with challenges in our work that can impact our own emotions and thoughts. It is important to process and explore one’s own experience of the therapy while providing treatment. Supervision offers the space for new clinicians to make mistakes, explore their bias, and gain capacity in their role as a therapist. It is a way to explore different methods of providing care and ways to problem-solve challenges. As a supervisor, I see my role as guiding a new clinician towards confidence in their clinical judgment and ability to provide effective treatment.

Telehealth Services

To expand and improve our care options for clients, ACP offers Telehealth (phone or video) appointments. Telehealth uses phone or video conferencing to connect you with highly qualified and experienced providers in real-time from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. Before your telehealth appointment, you will receive details for how you will connect with your provider. If you will be connecting via phone, the provider will plan to call you at your scheduled appointment time. Please be ready to take the call and also check that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers (accessible within your phone settings). If you will be connecting via video conference, your provider will email you an invite to join the appointment. Please call our office to learn more about ACP’s telehealth services and to schedule an appointment.
