Nicole Gornowicz, MA

Community-Based Services

In providing mental health counseling, I strive to develop a safe, encouraging, and open environment for clients to process difficult experiences, circumstances, relationships, and other factors in life. Using art therapy and an Adlerian psychological approach, I work with clients in a collaborative relationship to encourage healing and positive change. I am a client-centered practitioner and believe the client is the expert on his/her/their life. I find creative expression incredibly healing and use art-making and client’s art to explore concerns the client currently faces. I work with a variety of issues in clients’ lives including relationship problems, social concerns, and emotional issues. I have experience working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, life transitions, ADHD, and more. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and provider.
