All of my work as a clinical therapist is based on the beliefs that people behave (act, feel, think), for reasons and are doing the best they know how given the resources they are aware of having. I also know that "no matter who you think you are, you are always more than that." My approach has developed over the past 20-plus years though study of eastern approaches (mindfulness, meditation, relaxation), and western psychology, including modern off-shoots of cognitive/behavioral and humanistic psychology (like dialect behavioral therapy and neurolingustic psychology.) The client hires me as a change agent to help them move toward their goal.
