Geriatric Services

I specialize in working with individuals and their medical teams in long-term care facilities and short-term rehab units. My focus is on collaboratively working with my clients to understand their strengths and areas of difficulty in order to improve their quality of life. I strive to support my clients with caring and understanding while also challenging them to take steps to work toward goals. I am experience with various approaches to therapy and use techniques from Acceptance and Commitment, Cognitive Behavioral, Illness Management and Recovery, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic therapies to tailor treatment to each individual's needs. I also work with the treatment team to help personalize care for my client and provide recommendations to support better quality of life and behavioral outcomes.
