Community-Based Therapy Services
As a member of the queer community, an active participant in theater and arts, and extensive experience in corporate office settings, I have been able to combine many different lifestyles into my understanding of what it means to be human. As a result, I have become extremely open to people from all walks of life and have the ability to understand any issue as worthy of exploration and patient evaluation.
I pride myself on my sense of humor and my ability to empathize with those around me. I couple that with a focus on cognitive behavioral techniques as well as solution-focused techniques to help clients feel validated and motivated for positive change.
I can help clients validate their feelings and beliefs, hear them out, and help them organize how they are thinking to work towards their goals. I combine evidence-based interventions with care and understanding to foster an environment of compassion and change. My clients can expect to understand themselves better, especially their presenting issues, and to have a provider committed to helping them find an accessible solution to their issues.
To expand and improve our care options for clients, ACP offers Telehealth (phone or video) appointments. Telehealth uses phone or video conferencing to connect you with highly qualified and experienced providers in real-time from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. Before your telehealth appointment, you will receive details for how you will connect with your provider. If you will be connecting via phone, the provider will plan to call you at your scheduled appointment time. Please be ready to take the call and also check that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers (accessible within your phone settings). If you will be connecting via video conference, your provider will email you an invite to join the appointment. Please call our office to learn more about ACP’s telehealth services and to schedule an appointment.
