Community-Based Therapy Services
My practice is based off of a client-focused and holistic foundation which involves consistently assessing and meeting the client where they are at. Throughout this process, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship with my clients as I whole-heartedly believe this is what develops an empathetic and open space where clients can feel comfortable to drive what it is that they are needing from treatment. Though my therapeutic approach will vary depending on the individual’s needs; I frequently find myself using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychoanalysis.
Within my therapeutic practice clients quickly find that I very much enjoy using humor, energy, and alternative methods of expression during the process of engagement. One of these methods would include the use of outdoors and our natural world as a means of achieving therapeutic growth as I believe there is a certain type of healing environment that simply cannot be captured in an office setting.
My background consists of working with individuals who struggle with behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Trauma, ADHD, life changes, and family dynamics.
To expand and improve our care options for clients, ACP offers Telehealth (phone or video) appointments. Telehealth uses phone or video conferencing to connect you with highly qualified and experienced providers in real-time from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. Before your telehealth appointment, you will receive details for how you will connect with your provider. If you will be connecting via phone, the provider will plan to call you at your scheduled appointment time. Please be ready to take the call and also check that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers (accessible within your phone settings). If you will be connecting via video conference, your provider will email you an invite to join the appointment. Please call our office to learn more about ACP’s telehealth services and to schedule an appointment.
