Nicole Larson, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Nicole Larson is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 20+ years of experience practicing within outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient mental health settings across the lifespan. Dr. Larson specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. She earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Masters (MA) degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica.

Dr. Larson provides diagnostic assessment and psychiatric medication management for individuals in kindergarten (age 6+) through college. She has clinical interest in a variety of mental health concerns including ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, and PTSD.

Dr. Larson is committed to partnering with families and developing individual treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine. She is also passionate about mental health advocacy and previously volunteered as the Representative of Nursing on the Governor’s Minnesota State Advisory Council on Mental Health. She also enjoys teaching and supervising graduate students.

Telehealth Services

To expand and improve our care options for clients, ACP offers Telehealth (phone or video) appointments. Telehealth uses phone or video conferencing to connect you with highly qualified and experienced providers in real-time from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. Before your telehealth appointment, you will receive details for how you will connect with your provider. If you will be connecting via phone, the provider will plan to call you at your scheduled appointment time. Please be ready to take the call and also check that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers (accessible within your phone settings). If you will be connecting via video conference, your provider will email you an invite to join the appointment.
