Alexander Arana, MA

Community-Based Therapy Services

I provide bilingual counseling services with a caring, nonjudgmental, trauma-informed approach in order to help clients find their best selves and accomplish their dreams. We work together to identify and build on strengths in meaningful, lasting ways. I take great care to ensure that all clients feel heard, seen, respected, and honored. My experience as a first-generation, Spanish-speaking, LGBTQ-identifying male helps me to relate with individuals from various marginalized sociocultural groups and assist them with navigating systemic barriers. My extensive experience with providing social work and counseling services for children, teens and families has taught me that I am constantly learning from others, and that their perspective is key.

In my free time, I enjoy managing a music/fine arts academy, teaching as a music instructor, and running a recording studio for local musicians.

Telehealth Services

To expand and improve our care options for clients, ACP offers Telehealth (phone or video) appointments. Telehealth uses phone or video conferencing to connect you with highly qualified and experienced providers in real-time from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. Before your telehealth appointment, you will receive details for how you will connect with your provider. If you will be connecting via phone, the provider will plan to call you at your scheduled appointment time. Please be ready to take the call and also check that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers (accessible within your phone settings). If you will be connecting via video conference, your provider will email you an invite to join the appointment. Please call our office to learn more about ACP’s telehealth services and to schedule an appointment.
