Community-Based Therapy Services
I have experience working with children and adolescents experiencing emotional dysregulation, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and on the autism spectrum. I have also had training in non-violent communication and de-escalation strategies to help guide how I communicate to clients. I meet every individual where they’re at with a priority in developing a strong rapport with each and every client. I believe a healthy therapeutic relationship is flexible, collaborative and built on trust and respect.
I aim to help my clients learn the best coping strategies that meet their needs, regulate their emotions, and allow them to feel supported. I believe change is a process which includes motivation, adaptive skills, and connection with others and the self.
I utilize many different approaches to therapy, including a humanistic person-centered approach with a sprinkle of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness based practices.
Telehealth Services
To expand and improve our care options for clients, ACP offers Telehealth (phone or video) appointments. Telehealth uses phone or video conferencing to connect you with highly qualified and experienced providers in real-time from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. Before your telehealth appointment, you will receive details for how you will connect with your provider. If you will be connecting via phone, the provider will plan to call you at your scheduled appointment time. Please be ready to take the call and also check that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers (accessible within your phone settings). If you will be connecting via video conference, your provider will email you an invite to join the appointment. Please call our office to learn more about ACP’s telehealth services and to schedule an appointment.
