As part of our ongoing commitment to offering services above and beyond traditional clinic-based therapy and medication management, ACP partners with other local organizations to support their mental health programs. Our current partnerships include:
ACP provides clinical direction for Lighthouse Wellness Center. Lighthouse is an agency that provides culturally specific ARMHS and CTSS for individuals and families of East African descent, predominantly from Somalia. Mental health practitioners from Lighthouse, who are also of East African descent, help bridge service gaps between the mental health needs of the community by connecting clients to the mental health system. Lighthouse teaches skills to improve the quality of life for all ages, whether they have recently arrived in the United States or have been here for over 20 years.
Metro Support Services’ mission is to provide services in a caring environment with the goal of helping people cope with difficult life situations, encourage healthy changes, and identify and build positive perspectives. MSS provides ARMHS and CTSS. They serve all people, though their experience leans more towards East African population. For questions or referrals, call 612-259-7886.
PHS offers culturally specific ARMHS and CTSS. For questions or referrals, call 602-373-9859
The purpose of the Somali Family & Youth Services organization is to provide an individualized mental health and behavioral treatment process that is child-centered, family-driven, and culturally competent to the East African child and adolescent population in the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
