Community-Based Therapy Services
I am a believer that change comes from creating a safe environment and a strong therapeutic relationship between the clinician and client. I have found my approach of developing trust and meeting the client where they are first, to be successful. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, teenagers and young adults. I have a great deal of experience working with the entire family as I did 5 years of in-home services and family therapy. My experience is mainly with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and life course changes such as divorce, separation, identity exploration, moving, etc. I also have several years of experience working with individuals who have autism. Aside from therapy, I have a passion for dance and movement and am a co-director of a dance studio. I love bringing movement into therapy if the client is interested in exploring activity as a way to cope with their mental health.
Telehealth Services
To expand and improve our care options for clients, ACP offers Telehealth (phone or video) appointments. Telehealth uses phone or video conferencing to connect you with highly qualified and experienced providers in real-time from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office. Before your telehealth appointment, you will receive details for how you will connect with your provider. If you will be connecting via phone, the provider will plan to call you at your scheduled appointment time. Please be ready to take the call and also check that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers (accessible within your phone settings). If you will be connecting via video conference, your provider will email you an invite to join the appointment.
